    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out preventative maintenance work and attend to service callouts and repairs.
    • Install & commissioning of Stulz equipment within critical environments.
    • Ensure that all service calls, preventative maintenance and repair work is carried out to highest possible standard and to the client‘s expectations and satisfaction.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Ensure service and preventative maintenance reports are fully complete and processed promptly.
    • Regular communication with office staff for coordination of work.
    • Perform work in a safe manner according to WHS requirements.

    Skills and experience required:

    • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience
    • Experience in critical commercial environments will be highly regarded.
    • Full Refrigeration and Air conditioning qualifications.
    • Licenses and certifications as required by Victorian or national legislation
    • Drivers licence

    JOB SCOPE

    Responsible for the Victoria service division’s Profit and Loss.

    To plan, direct and manage the service departments activities.

    Provide effective leadership to the service team.

    Improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth by achieving and exceeding sales (service) targets in relation to service maintenance support services (warranty convert, renewals and new customer opportunities), professional services, service quotations, product and solutions sales, upselling and cross selling.

    Continue to maintain a team culture within the service department that aligns with our brand values.

    Ensure the Company’s high brand image is maintained and upheld at all times.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the department is operates in an efficient manner and that a high standard of customer service is provided in response to breakdown calls, start up, installation and regular maintenance.
    • Ensure morale, spirit and harmony within the Service department remains at a high level.
    • Ensure that all service technicians have an intimate knowledge of all aspects of our customer’s site.
    • Prioritisation of work and resource allocation to meet daily work requirements. This includes any Service subcontractors to achieve this outcome.
    • Identify opportunities to expand the Service Departments offering and make direct representation to prospects and customers in order to expand the service business and work with our Service sales function to achieve coordinated approach.
    • Ensure that the team are fully trained to meet their objectives and utilise the equipment and resources that are available to them.
    • Create a culture of continuous feedback by appraising staff on an ongoing basis and regularly review performance.
    • Proactively support the service team with problem solving and take a hands on approach when needed.
    • Provide safe work practices and ensure that staff welfare is secured.
    • Ensure that all Company’s WHS policies and procedures are followed at all times.
    • Ensuring procedural compliance for all processes and adherence to company policy.
    • Ensure customer contact data is accurate.
    • Manage productivity and local expenses and to within budget and levels of responsibility.
    • Manage Warranty Claim Workflow process for the State.
    • Maintain professional and effective relationships with internal teams.
    • Care for, and maintain, company vehicles and capital equipment.
    • Ensure spare stocks and materials are adequate to requirements and conduct regular stock takes.
    • Ensure staff are professionally presented and represent the company to their customers to a high standard.
    • Assist in training and participate in customer demonstration or promotional seminars.
    • Be a role model for our brand values.
    • All other functions deemed necessary for the role
